Katie Sandow gained her marketing experience in commercial SME contexts, focusing on using marketing as a tool to support the delivery of business objectives. Katie worked in commercial and marketing roles with businesses in fishing, finance and investment before moving into food, drink and hospitality. As a business consultant and interim Marketing Director she has worked with a diverse range of clients in B2C and B2B, from tech to restaurants to FMCG.
Katie’s talent lies in bringing creative thinking to business opportunities. She specialises in marketing from a commercial perspective, distilling objectives into creative campaigns and projects in collaboration with the right people. Katie is also a non-exec director with Wales Golf, the national body for golf in Wales.
The Marketing Forum
In 2018 Katie set up The Marketing Forum, a professional development network for SME marketers, communicators and creatives. This project supports those working in SMEs to have better access to informal professional development opportunities and to enable the development of their network of peers.
